General Information for Alumni Regarding Registration

The Institute is pleased to announce that IIIT Allahabad will host the Annual “Global Alumni Meet 2022 (GAM2022)” in a Physical mode at IIITA from November 04th to 06th, 2022. We would like to invite you and your family to return to your Alma Mater to travel to the depths of your memories and relive the moments you had left behind. Here is all information regarding Alumni Meet and Registration. The alumni who will be registering for the GAM2022 will be offered Alumni Card with Life Time Membership Validity; free of cost (otherwise the cost of the Alumni Card is Rs. 1000 + 18% GST).

1. Registration fee details (Deadline for registration with revised registration plan: 2nd Oct 2022):

            A.  Delegates from India

  • The Registration plan for Alumni is Rs. 7,080/- (6000/- registration fee + 18% of GST)  Rs. 1000/-  (refundable after joining the event at IIITA)  and Rs. 3540/- (3000/- registration fee + 18% of GST)  Rs. 1000/- +18% GST (non-refundable) for each accompanying family member(s).
  • For children below five years, there will be no additional fee.

             B. Overseas delegation

  • The Registration plan for Alumni is US$250/US$ 42/- (18% GST is included) and US$ 150/-  US$ 50/- (18% GST is included) for each accompanying family member(s).
  • For children below five years, there will be no additional fee.

 

 2. After the revised deadline: 2nd Oct 2022:
  •   Late registration fee Rs. 2000/- + 18% GST (non-refundable) without Kit will be charged with a prior intimation by alumna/ alumnus to Dean Alumni Affairs till 25th Oct 2022. Please fill out the form and make the payment through NEFT as per the bank details are given below.
3. The Alumni who will be registered on or before 2nd Oct  2022 and attend the meet will be offered the following:
  • Dinner on 04th November.
  • Breakfast, Lunch, and Special Dinner on 05th November.
  • Breakfast and Lunch on 06th November.
  • There will be one kit for each registration.
4. Refund policy for already registered alumna/ alumnus:
  • Full refund by the Accounts Section after deducting Rs. 1000/- participation deposit and Rs. 1000 + GST for per accompanying person.
5. Transportation facility between hotel & IIITA
  • The IIITA Buses will go from campus to hotels in two to three scheduled shifts per day and any additional transportation will be managed by Alumni themselves.
6. Accommodation facilities for Alumni (in IIITA campus/ hotels)
  • The accommodation in the IIITA campus(on the payment basis as per institute norms) will be provided only to the first three batches (1999, 2000, and 2001) on a first come first serve the order to all alumni on a first come first serve order(due to limited availability of accommodation in the guest house). The alumni should send their requirements for the IIITA guest house (with details of all the accompanying members) by email alumni.meet@iiita.ac.in (with CC to “alumni.office@iiita.ac.in”) latest by 15th Sep 2022.
  • And for the rest of the alumni, they are advised to book accommodation using popular websites such as “hotels.com”, “makemytrip.com”, “oyorooms.com “, “goibibo.com” and others which offer various discounts and offer complimentary breakfast also. All alumni are advised to book accommodation in a suitable hotel (preferably in the Civil Lines, High court, near IIITA areas) well in advance of the Alumni Meet duration (04 – 06 November 2022) as there may be a price hike afterward.
    Please refer to Annexure 1 which contains a few well-known hotels in Prayagraj.

  • Alumni are requested to send the registration charges payment(refundable) details along with the acknowledgment slip after NEFT or WIRE transfer(while during NEFT/WIRE transfer state the purpose “Fee for GAM2022” ) at alumni.meet@iiita.ac.in (with CC to “alumni.office@iiita.ac.in”).
  • Alumna/Alumnus may also pay the registration fee (+ charges for accompanying persons) by cheque/DD. The cheque/DD should be in favor of the “IIITA Workshop and Seminar” payable at Prayagraj. Please send the cheque at:
